    DESCRIPTION​


    The Iono Pi board transforms the Raspberry Pi into a powerful and versatile controller by adding a wide range of industrial grade digital and analog I/Os, power relay outputs, and support for standard communication interfaces such as 1 Wire and Wiegand features typically found in modern PLCs.

    This expansion board serves as the foundation of the Iono Pi Module and the Iono Pi Touch Display, and can also be purchased separately for testing, prototyping, or integration into custom embedded projects.


    FEATURES


    Mounting:

    • Standard 40 pin GPIO connector compatible with Raspberry Pi
    • Power and I/O connections via screw terminal block

    Power Supply:

    • 9–28V DC input with surge and reverse polarity protection, plus a 2.2A resettable fuse
    • Provides up to 4.0A (at 24V DC) to the Raspberry Pi’s 5V input pins

    Inputs/Outputs:

    • 4 power relay outputs rated at 6A / 250V AC
    • 2 analog voltage inputs (0–30V)
    • 2 additional analog inputs (0–3V) available on internal pin headers
    • 7 configurable digital I/O pins supporting potential-free or voltage inputs, TTL inputs/outputs, and open collector outputs
    • Integrated 1 Wire and Wiegand interfaces

    Reliability and Security:

    • Real-Time Clock (RTC) with replaceable backup battery
    • Optional Microchip ATECC608A/B secure element for hardware level authentication and encryption

    Additional Features:

    • GPIO-controlled LED indicator
    • Power on status LED
