    DESCRIPTION


    Exo Sense RP is a highly adaptable indoor environmental monitoring device. It brings together the flexibility of the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller with a rich set of sensors and I/O options.

    The unit integrates temperature, humidity, air quality, light, and PIR motion sensors, along with a microphone for ambient noise measurement and audio recording. It also includes two digital I/O lines, an open-collector output, and a real-time clock with backup battery. An optional earthquake detection module can be factory-installed.

    For wired communication, Exo Sense RP features an ESD-protected RS-485 interface, supporting Modbus as well as other half-duplex serial protocols.

    At its core, the RP2040 microcontroller provides a dual-core Arm Cortex-M0+ CPU running up to 133 MHz, with 264 KB of SRAM and 16 MB of onboard Flash memory.

    Programming is simplified via a concealed USB 1.1 port that allows easy flashing of the microcontroller.
